Phenna Group’s Built Environment Division

We are proud to be part of Phenna Group’s Built Environment Division, a network of specialist businesses delivering testing, inspection, certification, compliance and consultancy services that support the safety, performance and sustainability of buildings and the built environment. The Division brings together a broad range of technical expertise, helping clients navigate regulatory requirements, improve building performance and manage risk across every stage of the built asset lifecycle, from design and construction through to occupation, operation and refurbishment.

Strength Through Global Expertise

As part of a global provider of Testing, Inspection, Certification and Compliance (TICC) services, our business benefits from the strength, resources and technical knowledge available across the wider Phenna Group. Alongside Built Environment, Phenna Group operates across four additional divisions: Infrastructure, Industrials, Certification & Compliance, and Food & Life Sciences. This breadth of expertise creates opportunities for collaboration, enabling clients to access specialist support whenever projects require multidisciplinary knowledge or complementary technical services.

Across the Built Environment Division, specialist teams provide expertise in building regulations, building control, building certification, construction compliance and technical consultancy. Services include building control approvals, regulatory inspections, occupancy certification, Building Safety Act consultancy, Principal Designer advisory services and higher-risk building compliance support. These capabilities help developers, owners, designers and contractors meet increasingly complex legislative and regulatory requirements while maintaining safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Additional capabilities include building decarbonisation strategies, net zero consultancy, climate resilience assessments, thermal modelling, U-value calculations, thermal bridge analysis and overheating assessments, helping clients improve energy efficiency and meet sustainability objectives.
